Aurelia Point Of View

I sat by the window, my eyes fixed on Danciana as she slipped out of the building. Her cautious glances around made my suspicions grow stronger. What was she up to? Was she meeting someone in secret? My mind couldn't help but conjure up various scenarios, all pointing to some shady dealings on her part.

As I continued to observe her, my heart skipped a beat when I heard a voice from behind. "Aurelia," Beta Liu called out, and I jumped, almost letting out a little shriek. I turned to find Beta standing there with a knowing smile.

"You scared me," I signed, my hands trembling slightly. Beta had always been intuitive, and I knew he had a way of picking up on things others might miss.

"I know," he signed back, "I saw you looking out the window, keeping an eye on Danciana. You suspect her, don't you?"
