The opening ceremony

My stepbrothers deployed more than a dozen werewolves to look for Helen, but it was futile. You could tell that she had long left the pack. There were no doubts that she might be in the human city, hiding from everyone, knowing the fate that awaited her should she show up in the pack.

Not only did she lie to the Alphas, but she colluded with the others to get rid of me and occupy a position that wasn't hers.

After a full week of staying at home, to work, I resumed working for my mates. The opening ceremony of my new store was around the corner, and I had already prepared everything so as not to be caught unawares.

They tried all they could to get me to forgive them, buying gifts and apologizing to me every chance they had. They made sure I didn't get a moment to myself each day as they kept on disturbing me every chance they got. It was as if they were on a mission to torment my soul until I accepted them, something I knew would take a lot of time for me to do.
