61. Borrowing Spirit

I step closer to him, my eyes alight with rage. "I am willing to fight you for it," I say firmly.

Alpha Devon doesn't back down. He shifts into a huge black wolf and lunges forward, howling in fury. I respond by shifting into my own wolf and jump up to meet the Alpha in midair. We both land on the ground, snarling at each other as they circle around one another in a lethal dance of power and strength.

I let the Alpha Devon strike first, aiming a fierce right hook at my head but I dodge it easily and retaliate with a powerful force that sends the Alpha flying across the room. He howls with pain but quickly regains his footing and charges forward again, this time managing to claw at my shoulder fiercely with his razor-sharp claws. Blood starts flowing freely from the wound as I growl loudly and leaps onto the Alpha's back, sinking my fangs into his shoulder.
