Deceiving Ends

Damon POV

As I walked through the pack house my mind raced. I didn’t even know what I’d say to Chelsea when I reached her room. I’d have to banish her from the pack if I really didn’t want Elena to know about her, but that just felt like a major over reaction. I could ban her from the pack house, but Elena would roam the lands alone soon enough and her running into Chelsea was too likely. There wasn’t a simple solution where someone wasn’t hurt.

Reaching Chelsea’s room I couldn’t bring myself to turn the door handle. As I turned to walk away, Chelsea swung the door open, murder in her eyes.

“Exactly why is it you feel the right to have Dean, of all people, dismiss ME?!” She practically spit in my face.

“I’m the alpha Chels. I can do what I please when I please. Last night it pleased me not to have you in my sight.” I tried to lie but it floated out of my mouth like frosty breath.
