Ellie stared at her father as they approached the weathered shack that looked like it had seen better days, yet there was no renovation. Yhr people were obviously complacent with living in such a place.

She shuddered at the mere thought of having to stay here for a minute and it wasn't even as if she was trying to be condescending. This wasn't what she was looking for. Instead, she felt like there was something missing as she trudged down here.

"Do these people even function properly?" She inquired from her dad because this was one of the most humbling things that she had had to do. That was why she believed that it must work because all of this couldn't go to waste at all. She would be so mad if any of this happened

"You do know that he can hear you right?"
