Chapter 59

The next morning when I woke up Kyle and Kenny were already there. I was relieved that Moana thought to keep the kids in their rooms. I did not want them anywhere near Kenny. I grabbed some coffee and headed into the living room where the two of them were waiting for me. “You look like you could use some more sleep woman.” Kenny said with a sly smile on his face.

I yawned and said, “You are probably right about that, but I will survive. So, what do you have for me today.” Kyle took hold of the conversation. “Kenny has been busy trying to uncover any secrets he could find on Ruby. He found a few things that I am sure Emma did not even know about. Go ahead and tell her Kenny so we can make a decision on what to do next.”

Kenny nodded and began telling me what he dug up. “From what I can tell Ruby is very good at keeping secrets herself. When it comes to people like me who have a lot of resources and contacts things will not stay hidden to me for long.” The way he spoke led me to belie
