Chapter 61

I was at a loss for what to do now. I was not expecting Ruby’s secret husband to be in charge of the university as well. I was a tad bit pissed off at Kenny at that moment for either not finding this information out or for neglecting to relay it to me.

On one hand I could kill two birds with one stone here. Revealing Ruby’s true identity to Tanner both as her husband and as her educator. On the other hand, it was possible that he may already know who she really was. It was definitely a gamble either way. I was a hundred percent in a pickle.

He watched me as I stared at him without saying a word. Tanner than cleared his throat before saying, “Uh hum. I am guessing my age comes to a shock to you and it may be throwing you off a bit. Most deans are more seasoned than I am. My great grand father founded this school many years ago. It has been a family tradition ever since to take over as dean when our father before us would retire. As such my father retired last semester so here, we are.”
