Chapter Fifty

ELYSIA'S POV

There was a glint in the Alpha's eyes as he commanded his men to take me and keep me hostage so I could be used against Alpha Asher. He looked like he could not believe his luck, like a hunter whose prey managed to find its way into his territory without any ado.

"Lock her up," he commanded.

I shuddered as two guards came over to my side and tried to grab hold of me.

My heart was beating fast, but I also knew I couldn't let them take me that easily. Just when they attempted to get hold of me, adrenaline kicked in and I shifted into my wolf form and tried to get away from them.

Just as I expected, the men gave me a very hot chase and it did not take long before the two men surrounded me.

I heard the Alpha give out a loud cackle which sounded like he was mocking my failed attempt at getting away from his men.

Although I was surrounded and clearly outnumbered, I still refused to give up, instead, I took the two men in a fierce fight.
