ASHER'S POV

When I got back from the errand I had to run, I went straight into the room to find Elysia. All through my drive back home, my mind had been on Elysia, I could not just wait for the evening so that we would go back to our pack and enjoy the peace which we had missed for the past few months.

There was a smile on my face when I pushed the door open because I had gotten Elysia one of her favourite snacks and I was anticipating the look on her face when I handed it over to her.

The smile on my face immediately faded when I pushed the door open and noticed that Elysia was not in the room, and from the look of things, it looked like she had been gone for a long.

I got a little apprehensive but didn't think much of it. I brushed it off because I had left her under the care of Nikolai. If anything had gone wrong, he would have called immediately to inform me.
