Chapter Twenty Nine

ELYSIA'S POV:

It was cold by the time I woke up the next morning, and I was alone in bed. The cold I felt despite being covered with the sheets gave me a feeling of emptiness, especially since I found myself all alone in Asher's bed that morning.

While I was still trying to gather myself and think about last night's event, the bathroom door opened and the Alpha walked into the room all dressed up, his hair looked ruffled and he brushed it backwards with his fingers.

He cast me a simple glance and looked away.

"You are awake." He said coldly simply watching the space in front of him like it was the most interesting thing in the world, like what we just had meant absolutely nothing to him.

I scoffed inwardly like it wasn’t like I expected it to mean anything in the first place.

He fumbled in his wardrobe for a while and eventually pulled out a piece of clothing then turned back to me.

"I will call you again when I have a need for you, but for now you can get out." He said and walked out
