Chapter Twenty-Seven: Colin

I was nervous when Dom took over, but Paige loved it. I guess the wolf knows what she likes. I’m always worried about being too rough, but now I know she can handle it.

Mate loves me.

Uh, correction, mate loves us.

It’s funny to me that Paige liked Dom’s dominance but fights me tooth and nail on everything. I asked her to stay in bed while I dealt with the rogues. Instead, my redheaded mate stands next to me, looking at the bloodbath that ensued. She looks a little sad that the fight ended so soon.

“Twenty rogues dead. One alive,” Nolan states. “Only minor injuries on our side. Two of our warriors were bit, but they’re already healing.”
