Chapter 41

Chelsey's eyes widened. She asked in disbelief, "How did you know I'm pregnant, Timothy?"

She only confirmed her pregnancy this morning!

Timothy smiled. "I felt your heartbeat when I held your hand a couple of days ago. I sensed the baby then."

"Why didn't you tell me?" Chelsey didn't know Timothy was so skilled. He was able to sense her pregnancy just from feeling her pulse.

"I thought you knew already. Have you told Lucas?" Timothy asked.

"No, I don't plan to tell him. I have the means to raise the baby on my own, so I'm going to," Chelsey said. She had had enough of Lucas wavering between her and Shannon.

Chelsey thought her relationship with Luas was already improving, but it looked like he was still getting it on with Shannon.

Chelsey had had enough.

With a smile, Timothy said, "We'll raise the baby together. A child can't grow up without a father's love. I can be the kid's godfather."

"Thank you, Timothy," Chelsey said gratefully. Tears pooled in her tears, about to fall
