THIRTY SEVEN

LIAM’S POV:

I woke up to the feel of a nice smooth warm body curled around my shivering body. It felt so good that I wanted to live in the moment.

But then, I didn't recall going back home or wrapping myself up in someone’s arms. I tried to recall where I was at the moment but couldn't until I got a whiff of that tantalizing citrus smell that I was learning to get addicted to.

I opened my eyes and saw an almost naked Mia cuddling me in her arms with a blanket covering our bodies.

I smiled inwardly at that as I inhaled yet again her intoxicating smell.

I wrapped my hands around her tiny slender waist before pulling her closer to me.

I felt her tense at my touch before calling out my name.

I knew that it was improper to do this even though she hasn't considered me a part of her life probably because I cheated on her which I deeply regret now.

But she hasn't given me a chance to explain myself. If this is the only way to do it and make things right between us, I will do so.
