LIAM’S POV:

I woke up feeling dizzy and exhausted as I tried to adjust my eyes to the ray of sunshine that seeped in through the window.

I groaned as I stirred on the bed backing the window.

I looked over to where Riley lay beside me after our hot session but she wasn't there. I instantly knew that she was gone as her portion of the bed had gone cold.

I cursed myself inwardly as I realized that Riley had tricked me into sleeping with her with the promise of signing the divorce papers.

“Damn, how can I get tricked by Riley who I'm sure as hell must be laughing her ass out at me,” I thought to myself, still cursing inwardly.
