Hoping that Lansford would come back and find me, I stayed at the shop for who knows how long. The ladies in uniform started to probably get annoyed at me since I was staying in their shop and was not buying anything, making me feel uneasy and uncomfortable. I did not want to embarrass myself so I hauled the bags with me and left. His scent was all over the place but even though I followed its trace, he was still nowhere to be found.

 I did not know the direction where Lansford parked his car nor can I read the signs around me so I simply trusted my instinct and walked towards the stairs moving downwards. I knew I was lost but it was just hard to admit it to myself.
