I could not answer his question so I simply looked out the window and said nothing. If I were to lie to him, would he believe me? But I just had this feeling that he was not in the mood to be fooling around and if he caught me lying, he might just throw me out and I had nowhere else to go. Curious about what they were talking about, I still shut my eyes while enduring the strong smell of antiseptic, my least favorite smell.“We did some tests to check on whatever is wrong with her but we found nothing.
