MATTEO'S POV

"But I don't stink of something you don't like," she threw back at Horace as Gaius and I stared at them.

Horace finally nodded his head and said, "You have to promise me that you won't do anything rash."

"I promise," Lenora assured him.

Horace encircled his fingers in hers as we all strode out.

Lenora is indeed a stunning woman, with long, flowing hair and piercing blue star cluster eyes, walking beside Horace.

We moved quickly, our steps almost in perfect unison as we made our way through the pack's territory.

Rouge witches were very unpredictable and could cause chaos and destruction with their magic. We can't let our guard down, not even for a second.

As we got to the border, Horace and Lenora were greeted by the warriors. We quickly formed a plan, dividing the warriors into search parties and assigning them a specific area to search through.

Myself, Horace, and some warriors were together; it was time to get to work.
