Eira’s POV

No matter how much she cried and pleaded, no one answered her, they were just staring at her.

“Why don't you just take her to the clinic, ” an old man said with a scoff and I frowned immediately.

Obviously, it's because she can't afford it. Can't they tell from how she's dressed? Or maybe the clinic even refused to help her.

“I will help you, ” I heard a young man say from the crowd.

I couldn't help but turn to look at him.

He's a vampire but he looked gentle, unlike the vampires I had come in contact with.

Maybe it was because he's a healer.

I was about to move closer to the scene when I heard the Vampire king's cold voice.

“She already found help, let's go, ”

I shook my head. “I can't just leave. I have to know what happened to the child, ”

“Why?”

“Because I'm a healer, ” I answered and he frowned at me.
