Aiding crime

Xander's POV

I couldn't see anything as I plummeted Declan continuously, the thought of my father struggling under his hold fighting for his life made me furious. It was clear now where the strangulation in the autopsy came from. There is no doubt Elizabeth had something to do with the poisoning. These two monsters ruined my family. They killed my father.

Declan fought weakly underneath my weight, trying to push me off, but I was too strong to be pulled back. With Axel's help, I was able to claw at his face. I want to leave a mark that he would never forget in his entire life. In my rage, I got shoved off him and I found myself rolling on the hard floor.

Still not deterred, I stood up and attempted to finish him off. Declan looked drenched in his blood, but two strong hands held me back. Elizabeth had a horrified look on her face as she called out to her son.

“You bastard!” She yelled at me. “What have you done to my son?”

With every strength I could muster, I pushed the men away
