Xander's POV

I pulled at my hair tightly, almost yanking it off my scalp. It's been more than thirty minutes since we missed Kira. The entire camera became blank, even though her location at some point was clear, the rest of it has been blurred. I am never going to forgive myself if anything happens to her.

“Sit down, Xander. This won't do. Stop worrying so much, trust Kira. She promised to return, and I am very sure she would.” Miguel said.

“You don't get it, Miguel. If she gets caught, they won't hesitate to harm her this time around. And where the hell is she? It's been so long, I told you it would have been better if we followed them.” I whined

Miguel sighed, “your emotions would have gotten in the way, and you end up messing it all up.”
