Escaping the enemy

Kira's POV

I groaned painfully, as I tried to rub at my cramped neck I realized my hands were tied together. Taking a deep breath, I let my sensitive organs figure out the space I was in. Ayla was acting completely restless, and I had to keep fighting between remaining in my human form and shifting into my wolf. Moreover, she was only hurting me with her struggle. My hands were tied together with a silver chain.

“Easy, Ayla. Calm down. Stop panicking.” I told her, at the voice she relaxed.

I blinked severally trying to adjust my eyes to the semi dark room, I almost got myself killed the other time. Seeing the men, I was defensive, immediately forgetting I had intentionally walked into whatever trap was laid for me. Probably, I didn't imagine it would be this violent. Anyway, I shouldn't have expected less from them.
