Chapter Six

Athan’s POV.

I take a sip of my coffee and gaze out at the arena from my training shed built exclusively for me. Covered with vibrant green grass in the middle and an orange oval running track surrounding it, I am quite pleased to see that it is put into good use. My students are doing their daily drills that help them master the art of endurance and discipline.

I like having my personal space, but my students know better than to keep their questions to themselves. Which is why if they have questions, they need to jog half a mile towards me from the arena. Some might think that the whole process is inefficient, but they are blatantly wrong. Half a mile is child’s play for us werewolves. Besides, that extra distance is good for their speed.

A group of students purposely jog to where I am just to greet me to which I returned. Another group of students asks me a question on how to shift faster. Another asks about ways to polish their combat skills. See? Everything is running smoothly.
