Stan POV I slept on the couch not wanting to corner Kinsley. She was terrified when we came back to our room last night. I had first tried to get her to eat, but she claimed to not have an appetite. Elizabeth POV The awful scream that came from Carly startled all of us. It was clear she was in a trance … a bad dream. Kinsley POV I had walked off my anxiety trying to figure out why Stan was supposed to be important to me. And why a mate had suddenly turned up for him. How could I be his mate when he had one already? It hurt me to think of him with someone else. She was beautiful. Far more beautiful than I could ever hope to be. Why would he want me when he could have her? Hints of my past were starting to come back to me. I could vaguely remember another Pack. Another life.
