Mary nodded, getting a bit confused. She was very certain that the note was meant for her, after all she was the one who was planning to expose Adonis hidden secret.

“Do you have any enemies? I mean, did you have a fight with anyone that would want to hurt you?”

Mary shook her head, it was not a complete lie anyways, after all she did have any enemies anyways, and she did not have any fight with anybody either.

“You know what Mary? You would try to stay back at home for a while, until we figure out what to do” his voice sounded shacky. Mary had a feeling that her brother was hiding something since he was acting so suspicious, but she had no idea what it was. She wondered what it could be that he was hiding from her.

He made to go inside then he came back again. “And please, we have to keep this from mum and dad, we do not want to have them
