Chapter 72 - Altercation

Trinity POV

We’ve discovered another piece of the puzzle thanks to my pregnancy and extremely sensitive nose. Unfortunately, I don’t know where the foul smell has come from, but there is a good chance the others working with Drake and his father will have the same nasty scent, too.

Unlike the King, I don’t think Drake and his father are working for someone else. They have too much pride and an extremely large ego which would prevent them from taking orders from someone else, no matter who the person is.

I stare across the desk at my mother. “Do you think you have discovered all the moles? Or are there more?”

She shakes her head. “I’m not sure. We will find out soon. Did Lance tell you whether the King has found many in his pack? The lycans seem like they are very loyal, but this shows not everything that looks perfect is.”
