Chapter 28

Tears were running down her face freely. She sobbed softly but Melissa didn't mind. Melissa's arms were wrapped securely around her.

"Shhh, its okay, it's going to be alright"

Melissa murmured reassuringly while stroking her head.

Noises were heard coming from the main door and soon enough, Vera walked in looking tired. Her night shift was tiring coupled with the death of Andrew, she was exhausted.

She jingled the spare key as she headed into the room but stopped on her tracks seeing the position her daughter and Selena is in. It was obvious to her that Selena is still mourning her brother as expected.

She sighed,"are we still crying?"

Selena in her tears turned towards Vera, Melissa twitched her lips and shook her head in response.

"Selena won't stop crying and soon I might join her. We are all deeply hurt here but if she continues like this, we will never get over Andrew's death,"
