Chapter 57

"Dad, does she have to go with us?" Kyle asked with a deep frown settling on his face. He didn't like the idea of his father taking Selena along for the family dinner.

"Yes, she has to go." Robert answered, draining his whiskey and setting the wine glass on the side stool. Getting to his feet, he pulled Kyle towards him and adjusted the collar of his shirt, "I don't know what you have against her but can you not hate her for one night, okay?"

Kyle shrugged off from his father's hold, "Dad, I thought you don't like her. That she is just your mistress?" The little man questioned his father who didn't find it funny that Kyle is having a big issue with his decision to take Selena along for the dinner. He had no reason as to why he wants Selena with him, maybe probably because it will prevent his mother from taunting him about not having a girlfriend. He could need Selena for that.

"I don't hate her and I don't like her either." He sighed and added, "she is my employee so you see?"
