Chapter one hundred and three

Heaven

I woke up to the sound of yelling, the echoes of heated voices reaching my room like an ominous prelude to an unforeseen chapter. Instinctively, I rushed downstairs to find a young man in the midst of an intense confrontation with my father. Their voices clashed like thunder in the otherwise serene atmosphere of our home.

My father, calm and composed, attempted to reason with the stranger, but the young man's rudeness only fueled the tension in the room. The air crackled with an unsettling energy as I stepped forward, a surge of protectiveness coursing through me.

"What is going on here?" I demanded, my voice cutting through the verbal brawl.

The stranger turned his sharp gaze towards me, his agitation evident. "Stay out of this, princess. This is none of your business."

I felt a flicker of anger at his insolence, but I kept my composure. "In my home, everything is my business. Now, explain yourself."
