CHAPTER 41

Right in the junction between her shoulder and her neck, she was met with rough jagged skin. It was a bright red and looked as though it has been touched violently. She couldn't believe what she was seeing and for a second she almost broke down again.

She had never seen a mark before but she knew that this was far from what it was supposed to look like. What she feared the most was the thought of what would happen now. She knew deep inside of her that it couldn't be anything good.

When she touched the skin she couldn't help but cry out as she let a jolt of electricity go through her. She didn't feel pain but it wasn't pleasurable either. In that moment all she wanted to do was wash the memories of what had happened off her body.

She made her way shakily to the toilet as she took a deep breath before allowing the hot water to heat up her skin. For a moment it served as a decent dustraction for her.

She managed to make her way out of the shower several minutes later and wrapped a towel
