46. PUTTING IN THE WORK

 The work kept me occupied.

The next day I woke up sad but with such energy. It all was happening and I knew I would be working my ass off all day long. I rushed down after a quick shower, finding the trucks already in the royal grounds. We offloaded everything, some members of the pack coming to help when done with breakfast. I had to hide in a corner for some time until I was sure the king was finished and gone from the dining room. I walked past the dinning room doors quiet often so I did not want to bump into him.

There were so many things and I could not believe I had even bought that much staff.

When it was all unloaded and packed, the trucks left with the designers left behind. We looked at the throne room, telling them how I wanted everything to look and they suggested some things for me. I can understand why the pack members are standoffish with each other and with the Luna. The King's talk was heartbreaking. But why do they feel the need to sabotage the work being done? Is the saboteur the mistress and her minions?
