45. JEALOUS
The night was the coldest, the longest and most dreadful. I lay in bed wearing his t-shirt and clung to the covers as I played the conversation over and over again with the pain exploding each time. Maybe if I hurt enough then I would become numb, then I would lose all feeling all at once but that was not the case.
I cried until I stopped with my mind going to imagine the future we would have had. Our children, what would they even look like? I would like to have three children, two girls and a boy. I shook my head, closing my eyes to clear my head. Nothing but darkness filled me, it comfort to me as I lay with my heart breaking over and over again.
My eyes snapped open, light filling the room with another day on us. I wanted to wallow in my bed all day but I was a luna. I could not hide away, I had duties which I would fulfill no matter what I was going through.

My darkness consumed me and I lay in the middle of the bed with my head to the ceiling as everything drifted away with peace falling on me.I felt as the sun rose with the thick rays kissing my skin. The music filled the whole house. Traditional songs were played as the sun went over the horizon. Everyone was happy in the pack, all talking about the whole event and how great it was. I had never felt so cold, I had never felt so out of touch with my environment. Each step I took left my body quivering as if it would shutter.
