CHAPTER 11

After the night, I instructed my driver to go home and get me some clothes because I would be staying for a while to keep a close eye on my mother. The driver left for my house right away.

I went in to my mother's room to check if she was awake before going to the kitchen to make a good cup of coffee for her and bringing it with me to her room.

As I entered the bedroom, I noticed she was sitting there, staring at the mirror in front of her. I moved over to say hello.

"How was your night, mom? Good morning" I greeted

She said, "My night was filled with nightmares" she replied in a very faint tone, her voice seem gone as a result of her crying all day and night, I pityed her.

And I handed her the cup coffee and said, "I know mum and that's why I have brought you this coffee to get you calm," and she took a taste of it right away.

She expressed her gratitude to me by saying, "Thank you so much, Adrian. I appreciate you being there for me and looking after me."

"You're welcome, mum.
