Chapter 15

After packing my clothes, a maid came and put my luggage in the trunk of my car. I then went downstairs to get ready to leave, ran into my mom in the parlor, said goodbye with a warm hug, and hopped in my car to head to work.

When I arrived at work, I stepped down, entered the space, and sat down in my chair. I was there, lost in thought, when my PA entered and began conversing with me.

Unfortunately, I was unaware that she was in front of me; it took her tapping me on the shoulder for me to realize she was there.

She addressed me in the morning with a concerned "Hello, sir."

I replied, "I'm OK, Donna. How was your night?"

"My night was cool, but if you ask me, I'd say you don't look too good this morning, sir. You look very moody, so I hope everything is okay" she said.

"Yes, everything is fine; I just feel a little worn out" I replied her

"Would you like me to let the doctors know?" She requested.

I retorted, "Nope, that won't be necessary at all, I'm OK, there's no need to worry."
