Micah's POV

I watched her as she got up from where she was and pushed me away.

I could not stop staring at my hand and back at her as she left.

“Seriously?” I asked myself countless times. She really did this?

Everything was becoming so frustrating to me. Maya was not in any way giving in to my plan.

I had no idea what she thought about me. Everything that I had done in the past days was enough to convince someone but, why was her case different?

Why was everything so different when dealing with her?

Soon, Maya was out of sight and I was still standing here by the staircase, thinking so hard.
