Micah PovThe next day was a public holiday. It meant school was closed down. No lectures. No fucking teachers. I woke up later than usual and ran for at least an hour on the treadmill. Micah's Pov(Days later)*I replayed Maya’s rejection in my dreams. She was livid with hurt and anger. She took one look at the calla lilies in my hand and turned her back on them. She turned her back on me. I could see her wolf yearning to return back to me, but her human form pushed her steps farther and farther away from me.Daniel appeared out of thin air. He was clutching a bunch of calla lilies, similar to the ones I had bought. Maya smiled at the sight of the flowers. She accepted it and gazed up at him adoringly. Micah's POV I ground my jaw painfully. It was quite grueling, given how hardly Daniel had punched me in the face. I was sure the fuckwit had been itching to get his hands on me for quite a while.
