Micah's Pov

I was taking a break from the hassle of school in my private classroom. Of course, my friends were with me. We were indulging in one of our favorite pastimes. Drugs and talking about random shit. Today, most of our conversation seemed to center around Maya and the bet.

It was annoying how the guys kept talking about how badly it was going.

“I don’t mean to be rude Alphus,” Ted inhaled a lungful of smoke. “But if you can’t get the she-wolf to accept an apology note, how long do you think it would take to get her into bed? A year? Two?”

The guys laughed. I bared my teeth, despising the fact that I was on the receiving end of their jokes. Ted noticed the fury in my eyes and clamped the fuck down.

“Maya is a difficult nut to crack, which will make it all the sweeter, when I do eventually conquer her.”

“But is there anyway to hasten things between you two?” Fred asked. “It’s becoming boring watching her reject all your advances. There’s gotta be something else you can do.”
