“Home sweet home…” I said to myself as I was about to get out of my car. It had been another day of school and basketball practice, and I was craving rest and a repeat of practice as well.

But then, I was also looking forward to seeing Ellie there as that was now a weird part of my life that a part of me was wishing that I had never awakened in the first place.
