Chapter 59

Rachel’s POV

"Well, thank you." I answered and smiled. I was so surprised because I wasn’t expecting such a huge compliment from him; this was actually the first time he complimented me this way.

He then smiled, started up the engine, and drove out.

I noticed my face turning red, and I didn’t want him to know, so I looked away from the window.

"Are you okay?" He asked, and I sensed he looked at me.

Yes, I am very fine." I answered and let out a smile.

I noticed my red cheeks were now reduced, and they were not too red anymore. I saw it through the window, so I looked at him, and he smiled at me and looked back at the road.

The drive was a long one, and I enjoyed it too.

"Let’s stop here." He said so, and we dropped by a classic big restaurant.

"Wow, this place looks nice." I commented.

"Yeah." He said this as he parked properly, and we both came down.

"So is this the place you haven’t taken Laura to?" I asked because he told me something like that a while ago.

"Uhm, no." He laughed.
