Rachel’s POV

I woke up and saw David’s face very close to mine, but his eyes were on my lips.

I also realized my head was on his arm.

“Why are you staring at me like that?” I asked him, and he looked up.

“Oh, you’re awake.” He smiled.

I took my head from his arm and sat upright.

“I hope I didn’t wake you." He asked, and he sat upright too.

No, you didn't, and thank you.” I smiled at him.

He smiled and nodded.

“Let’s head home now.”

“No! Can we just stay a little longer?” I muttered.

“You want to stay for a while?” He asked.

“Yes,” I replied.

“Alright then.”

We sat and talked for a while.

This new David is really nice, and I hope he doesn’t change anytime soon.

After a while, I went back to the car to go back home.

“I would really love to go back there, David.” I said this as we were heading home.

Yeah, sure, anytime you want to go there, I’ll take you.” He said it and smiled.

“Thank you; I really enjoyed myself today.” I smiled and looked at him.
