MOSES'S POV

I wondered what Matilda was up to, coming to me like that at that time of the night, she had never acted that way toward me.

Well, is it not obvious? She realized she had done something wrong, and she was trying to seduce me so that I would forget about punishing her for her acts. Well... I did not even have the time for her yet.
