Chapter 68

MATILDA'S POV

I sat down inside the cave waiting for Luxian to come back. I had been working at the pack house since morning and my leg had become weak, and I massaged them while waiting.

My eyes kept darting from one place to the other in the cave. A spider was desperately trying to hang its web securely at the top of the cave, but every time it tried, it kept failing.

The spider failed so much that I thought it was going to give up and stop trying to hang its web but it kept trying. At one point I felt like helping it out, but I was too tired and too weak to even get up from where I was sitting.

After so many attempts that I was sure would amount up to a hundred times, the spider finally succeeded in getting it we'd hanged. A smile quickly spread on my face when the spider finally succeeded.

Somehow, I drew inspiration from the spider, he did not give up despite failing so many times.

Perhaps I could be like the spider too and not give up.
