MATILDA'S POV

Eva and I were still hiding behind the big rock inside the cave when I heard Luxian calling my name while walking into the cave, looking around for us.

The both of us came out from our hiding place as soon as we were aware that it was Luxian who had come into the cave. I should have known he was the one, who else knew about the cave if not him?

"Luxian!" I called softly as I walked out of the hiding. " What are you doing here? Are you not supposed to be at the mating event? Is the event over?" I asked him curiously, thinking he should be at the mating event except his situation turned out just like Eva.
