Calla's POV

I was now in the safety of my room, but I could brushed off the feeling of uneasiness flowing in my veins. Right from the time back in the park where he picked the call that came to his phone, his either demeanor changed drastically no matter how he tried to hide.

I had theories on what could be the possibilities for his change in mood. I knew his anger wasn't targeted at me but someone else. Someone must have done something wrong to him or something else.

My brain couldn't just grasp unto it, so I decided to take things into my hands and find out what was happening.

I inquired from one of the maids whether Lucian still held the meeting with the men that I saw earlier. She said they were still having a meeting.

So my plans now set into motion, after some minutes of thinking and confirmation, I dressed up and moved out.
