Lucian's POV

As we all agreed to go to the park for a picnic, I suggested that we use my private car, which my butler would drive for us. I was excited about spending more time with Calla and getting to know her better.

As we arrived at the park, I couldn't help but smile at the lively scenery. I hadn't had the luxury of time to enjoy the beauty of nature in a while. Seeing Calla smile and laugh warmed my heart, and I was grateful for the chance to share this moment with her.

Watching her, I couldn't help but think of my ex-girlfriend and how different things were with her. I was glad that I held on to my feelings for Calla, even when I wasn't sure if she felt the same. Being with her now made me feel more alive than ever.
