Author POV...
Simon made his way to the prison yard. He slowly walked as his footsteps echoed through the hallways. Most of the prisoners seemed to be disturbed seeing him walk past their cells. They were scared for their lives, rightly so; any of them could be killed at any given time. Simon made his way to Kara’s cell; two guards were stationed at the door.
“Open it,” Simon ordered the guards at the door, and they nodded and obeyed his commands. Alexa’s POV...I laid down lifelessly on the bed; we had both fallen asleep. Logan’s hand was wrapped around me like electric wires to its poles.
