I ended the call with Annabelle feeling scared that something might be wrong with Annabelle, but since she said she'd be here. I kept the hope alive

But as I began to focus my energy, the door of the house suddenly banged open. I heard multiple footsteps enter the house, their voices echoing off the walls. Panic bubbled up inside me and my heart began racing. Who could it be?

I tried to push the anxiety down and focus, but something was off. It's like my body had completely forgotten how to shift. Panic turned to desperation as I tried and tried again, but nothing worked. I was stuck in my human form as whoever had entered the house came closer and closer to me.

My mind went into overdrive as I tried to think of a plan. Should I confront these strangers as a human? Or try to hide until I could shift again? Before I could make a decision, the strangers appeared in front of me.
