Chapter 6

Eden POV

It was Sunday and I haven’t heard anything from both my father and Percy. I rolled to my side on the bed with my hands clutched in my fingers.

“What’s taking you guys so long?” I muttered in annoyance as I placed the device down giving it a bit of breathing space. I fall on my back again and started at the ceiling, the smooth white surface stared back at me, it would look great if it had a bit of color, I thought. My phone dinged and with the speed of light I reached for it and got up on my feet when I saw that it was a mail. With no hesitation I clicked it opened and stared at it. It was from Percy. I didn’t get to scroll when my phone began to ring.

An unknown number flashed across my screen making me frown, I contemplated picking when it ended and a message came in.

Pick up. It read. My frown deepened again and in few seconds my phone began to read again. Not wanting to look so desperate, I waited, counting to four before I pressed on the green button.
