Chapter 30

After Kyle left his room, John went back to bed, while Madison and Alessa hung around to talk.

“What’s with your sudden admiration for Kyle? Did something happen?”

“I just realized he does a lot of people.”

“I know. John and I shouldn’t have behaved like this. I just got very upset a few days ago. Couldn’t stop crying again and John just reacted. I know he feels bad now. I bet you he isn’t sleeping right now but worrying about Kyle.” Madison worriedly said.

“I am sorry Mad. I know you're not having the easiest time. No one is.” Alessa sighed.

“Yeah, okay get some proper sleep in your bed, you look like you haven’t slept in days.” Alessa hadn’t fully slept all week, but until now, she had felt very well rested.

After Madison closed the door Alessa did not go back to her room but headed to Kyle’s.

“You shouldn’t have said anything to them.” Kyle reprimanded after Alessa barged into his room. She didn’t listen and wrapped her arms around his neck. “But thank you for defending me.”

“Funn
