Chapter 41

It was a weekend and the moment for keeping fit had come.

Along the opposite ends of the streets of Purple City were a few people who knew what it meant to keep fit and maintain their bodies in good shape.

Charles had been inconsistent with his jog. And for a moment he was discouraged and wanted to return home and abort his plans of running a few hours to burn some calories.

But the sight of some adults and children on the road was all the motivation he needed to rescind his decision.

A few times that he had been on the road, he went with his pet dogs Becks and Juu. However, he didn't feel like walking them so he left them behind.

Charles ran a few miles and could feel the impact of the jog. His body was dripping with sweat and his shirt was already soaked in sweat.

His heart was pounding fast and just when he thought to take a break and cool off for a few minutes before continuing, he heard a male voice shout his name from a distance.

"Charles. Charles. Charles." The voice kept
