CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN

Authors POV

Unwilling to leave her kids again, Nora stepped out of the house with Aiden. They drove in his chauffeur and dropped in front of the party hall.

Nora and Aiden walked into the party hall. It was a large, opulent space, with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and white marble floors. The walls were covered in mirrors, and there were large windows that looked out onto a beautiful garden. Guests were milling about, talking and laughing.

"Wow, this is quite the party," Aiden said, looking around.

"Are you sure you want to be here?" Nora asked and rolled her eyes. Of course she would have been anywhere but here. She hoped her identity would not be revealed earlier than she expected.

Aiden and Nora located the VIp seat James had prepared for them. They sat comfortably, as guests who seemed to be friendly with Aiden arrived at the table to exchange handshakes.

"I heard you got married Aiden. Awwn, she is so damn pretty," one of them teased.
